I'm sure it's not complete but I'll start it off for everyone  I'm going to sticky this thread so it's on top. Feel free to add window managers not listed below.
AfterStep

Gnome

OpenBox

Sawfish

Description: Sawfish is an extensible window manager using a Lisp-based scripting language --all window decorations are configurable and all user-interface policy is controlled through the extension language. This is no layer on top of twm, but a wholly new architecture. Despite this extensibility its policy is very minimal compared to most window managers. Its aim is simply to manage windows in the most flexible and attractive manner possible. As such it does not implement desktop backgrounds, applications docks, or other things that may be achieved through separate applications. All high-level wm functions are implemented in Lisp for future extensibility or redefinition. Currently this includes menus (using GTK+), interactive window moving and resizing, virtual workspaces, iconification, focus/transient window policies, frame theme definitions, and many more standard window-manager functions.

XFCE

Description: XFce is a lightweight desktop environment for various UNIX systems. The XFce project was first started because I needed a simple, light and efficient environment for my Linux System. There are now a lot of good environments and interfaces for UNIX based systems, but most are too heavy, or too expensive, or even both ! I wanted something easy to use and configure, stable, fast, and, at last but not least, visually appealing... I believe that the desktop environment should be made to increase user productivity. Therefore, the goal is keep most system resources for the applications, and not to consume all memory and CPU usage with the desktop environment. From version to version, XFce became more and more user friendly and easily configurable. As XFce is made for the user, it has to be very simple to configure. That's why everything is driven by the mouse, using buttons, drag and drop, etc., and the configuration files are hidden from the user, although it is plain text.

Hate to be a stick in the mud, but Gnome and KDE aren't window managers...I know what you mean though! I'm too picky for my own good sometimes...
EDIT --> just noticed you did mention in the text descriptions that these two were DEs, not WMs. Sorry!

| Another lightweight WM is EvilWM. It's 26k and also makes TWM look like KDE. I use EvilWM for my gaming user so I have every available resource free. Works great and even has virtual desktops. Normal use Gnome, but I am on another Fluxbox kick right now. I'll move back to Gnome in a few weeks...always do!
