I've already got desktop recording working. I'm using gtk-recordmydesktop, which works EXTREMELY similar to istanbul. I just wanted to do captures instead because some of the tutorials I do are for...well...idiots. and they have a hard time following anything, so I know they'd have to keep trying to replay the videos over and over.
