bdquick, I didn't know there was even a "noticeable" difference!

Maybe there is, but I don't have speakers that would reveal the slight differences. They're just cheap computer speakers--basically the lowest end of the spectrum you can get....PLUS, I'd have to compare two different formats right next to each other and listen hard to be able to detect it......

lberg I think you'd have to be an audiophile to notice a difference.

Yeah, me too, but I was thinking that maybe his tapes are recordings of the next 'Beatles', so maybe someday, the decision would be 'important' to future 'audiophiles'.

Hmm. OK, thebdquick thanks Wink Yeah, that's sort of what I was saying. The first step in being able to even getting CLOSE to hearing the differences would probably be buying high-class speakers--but I'm not an audiophile, so I may be WAYY off with that statement, It's just a sort of a logical guestimate.
