EDIT: Here with it, and it is quite good. Default monitor resolution with newer nvidia card ( had drivers ). Solid as a rock. Going to install on jump drive.

I'm so sorry that some of you reports for the inappropriate ads there... so I bought a new ISP (10Meg) for RM380 ($200) for only to upload the single file... Doesn't metter because I should upload it to a better website, not a splitted files....
So, now, I'm the chairman of simpleLinux would like to announce that simpleLinux is now hosted at a 100MBITS server.... direct download, no ads.... (thanks for my friend for supporting me for the ISP)....
well... ??? |
All I can say is thanks...EDIT Downloded at my ISP's throttle rate ( they don't have ) of about 1.4 to 1.5 MB/s e.g. about 5 minutes with no nasty ads

Thanks again | you're welcome.... try it on flash drive by following the Installation Guide...... because it will run at the highest speed when on a USB 2.0 device or a drive... I should give thanks to University of Crete, Greece / Computer Center for hosting this files for free at 100 MBits speed, no matter at where you're downloading...

A big mini with xfce salix 13.0.2
Salix is a linux distribution based on Slackware that is simple, fast and easy to use. Salix is also fully backwards compatible with Slackware, so Slackware users can benefit from Salix repositories, which they can use as an "extra" quality source of software for their favorite distribution. Like a bonsai, Salix is small, light & the product of infinite care.
* one application per task on the installation ISO
* fully backwards compatible with Slackware
* optimized for desktop usage
* high quality package repositories with dependency support
* incredibly fast package tools
* simple & fully localized system administration tools
* nice artwork
* installation ISO fits on a single CD
* supports 32-bit and 64-bit architectures
Download links on page

Also now have a live CD, but I could not get a good ISO

A short note on salix.
This is a nice little distro, and for a slackware offshoot seems to have great package management ( highlighted above ). Ran it for a while, and was very pleased. It has a place on a club box. Running out of "places" <G><
