Thanks Smile

I've always liked the aesthetics of the *boxes and I've been a user of blackbox, fluxbox, waimea plus a cuple of forks. The bonus is that you can build as much into them as you want, such as icons, panels, etc.

Admittedly, not everyone's cup of tea, but works for me.

Hope we see a few more screenies in this thread - always fun to see how other people get their environment set up.

Mine's the same ol' same ol'. Haven't felt much up to computing in general, or playing with it much (been more in to chatting these days for some reason).

@DedannaRocks!: very tidy - and quite deceptive - looks like a Gnome panel at bottom left but more like KDE at bottom right; you seem to be using Gion icons, Netscape(?). Is it Mandriva?

By some startling coincidence we went to the pacific coast today - the view wasn't quite so spectacular but really nice.

@crouse: Definitely KDE on an arch box (time to update the arch icon for Kicker?), watching TV (I keep meaning to give that a try). I am very curious as to the app showing the weather radar - can you clue us in? Tasty specs on that box btw Smile

^^ I'm in Kubuntu again so will post a screenie in a while

I was using blackbox in the last millenium.
somehow, I slipped to KDE, and now I'm using Gnome (Ubuntu.)

Blacbox is sweet and fast, but takes too much time to configure and set up to suit my needs.
But once it's up and going, it sure is a sweet gui.
