Here you go for June 2024 -- mine's the same.

Since no one took the initiative, I thought I would. Smile

@Germ: how much is that a mandriva default look? I have to say that's one of the nicer KDE screens I've seen - very smooth and coherent and 'restful' colours; KDE 3.5.x or 4.x?

OK platinummonkey, I demand to know what command you used to get that awsome screen info, or is that your own script ?? (I'm jealous) Laughing Laughing Looking good, I don't know how you got everything to be in black and white, but it looks good .... I wouldn't have thought so, but I like it!

@platinummonkey: you've done a great job as JP noted - dark themes are notoriously difficult to get right - you may even tempt me to try xfce4 again

@crouse: the eyes have it Wink - I sense a pattern here following Dedanna's first posting...
I take it that's the wallpaper and the terminal is set to transparent? either way, the colour of the background is very non-intrusive - maybe you should find some icons to match

Heh.

I am a transparency FREAK. I wish I could make everything on my desktop transparent, at least to the extent of the terminal shown here.

you can with transset and xcompmgr/metacity's compositor <-- it's a gentoo howto but I'm sure if you search for transset in the forums of mandriva you'll find the necessary info
