I'm only 21 and I prefer to use green on black for my CLI work. It goes back to my days of DOS where whe had a green monochrome monitor..... WIN! :-p

Liking green on black has nothing to do with age.

i'm real ticked at Gnome right now, due to a bug in an update, and have to use KDE, so i'm cursing everything (strict Gnome user here, i personally do not like KDE, but have to be in here right now).

so i cursed it (quite literally):

and thar she stays 'til they fix that bug.

What bug are you refering to? I noticed several in the last update but none bad enough to force me to change back to KDE (or worse to boot up into Windows)

[EDIT]

ehh.... nevermind. I found you post about the bug. Fortunately that one didn't manifest with my gentoo install.

Yeah, it was 43105, but a fix is on the way, and they've give a workaround for now until they can fix the update.

So, I'm back in my trusty speedy Gnome. Very Happy

Only problem is, MDV Online is bugging me still, even though I've put the update into skip.list. It still wants to update it. We've workaround-ed for now by rolling it back.

Don't be too sure. It may yet creep up on you. It's an upstream bug, and it's messing with all kinds of things outside of what I reported at the bug itself. It also messes with file permissions, and other things too.

Please be careful.
