I have monomaxos 4 on Thor, and its a humdinger. great screensavers of scenic views of Greek countryside mountains, and buildings..
....looking forward to doing this one, but it looks like they went to KDE, so desktop will be up to date, but missing the great art.

KXStudio it's a GNU/Linux Operative System based on Ubuntu.
It's aimed at artists, producers, musicians as well as regular users.
Like Ubuntu, it has very strong security, it's easy to use and it's free of charge!

It features the best open-source applications available, including Ardour, Audacity, Blender, digiKam, Firefox, Gimp, Inkscape, Kdenlive, Mixxx, OpenOffice.org, VLC, and many others.

This version of Vinux provides three screen-readers, two full-screen magnifiers, dynamic font-size and colour-theme changing as well as support for USB Braille displays. Ylmf OS Ylmf OS is a new Ubuntu-based distribution from China with the GNOME desktop tweaked to resemble Microsoft Windows XP. Version 3.0 was released early this week based on Ubuntu 10.04, with the major components being Linux kernel 2.6.32-22.33, X.Org Server 1.7.6, GCC 4.4.3, and GNOME 2.30.0. It allows for a live CD mode, and one can log in with username "ylmfos" and an empty password. The live CD employs Squashfs LZMA, which combines one of the best compression algorithms, LZMA, and one of the best compressed file systems available nowadays, Squashfs, so as to include as much software as possible. Suggest torent. Works well Regular download is irregular <G>< 4 parts ( rar ) that have to be downloaded from this ad infested site. did one of these with Linux, and other than being a PITA and VERY time consuming, was OK. Would not try it with windows. After download, the 4 parts have to be combined. With linux if you do it right in order, they extract ( very slowly ) tnemselves into an ISO in a folder with MD5.
