Xine is now at rc4!

I think this shoudl be stick-ed.


Hey guys! Xine libs are now at rc4. The last of 2 more stages before the final! It is about time is was stable and it is.

Xine UI .99.1 is also out as well as the readme promised on schedule.

Note: for DVD you will need DVDcss and DVDread (not on all systems)
from http://www.geocities.com/thronk_a/
The ones at my site are modified (by me of course) for fedora systems (the original ones that are stable are crashing due to the new GLIB in Fedora)

I saw that in portage yesterday.
Do you mean rc4_a? (a bugfix release) rc4 was last month.
I haven't had the need to update from rc3, it works fine for me.

IMO Xine is better than Mplayer. Very Happy
Very worthwhile project.
