It should be able to. I don't have kmail installed but I imagine it just uses the browser component of konqueror or something for HTML mails.

I haven't found a way yet. I believe it's considered a security feature.

Settings > Configure Kmail > Security > General > HTML Messages- check both boxes. that should do it.

nah, i just tested it by sending a few jpegs and they just appear as image 1, image 2,(just the names with an image icon) etc but they dont show up as images w/out me having to open them. this is one of the only few annoyances with kmail ive seen. Sad

Did you use <img> tags on them, or just set them as attachments?

nevermind, i must be a little like rocky dennis or something. it works now, well it seems to be right. i just sent a nice wallpaper from my yahoo account and i can see it in the body of the message. maybe it had something to do with the way it was forwarded. while on the subject, when i seem to get a forward of some sort, i have to keep clicking windows open instead of it using the same window. is it possible to switch it to where the same window is used rather than opening a whole slew of them? hopefully i made myself clear enough. Smile

thanks for the help.

edit: k, so i spoke too soon. from kmail i sent a jpeg, i attached it. i can see how it attached it to the bottom of the email in its own seperate window. now when i checked it again, theres my email, sent to me. but it shows up as an icon in the body of the message with the name of the file, but not as a full image. i have to open it from there or save it. i coulda sworn there was a setting for inline attachments or something similar.

On the Menu bar: View > Attachments > Inline Smile
