I reset all of them to default. Didn't really have time to play around and figure out what was causing the lock-ups.

Notice all my settings were basically double from the default set-up EXCEPT
network.http.redirection-limit which I lowered to 10

network.http.redirection-limit [Integer] - This setting determines how many consecutive redirects Firefox will accept. For example if you click on an outdated link to a particular site, once arriving there you may be automatically redirected to the new address for that site. That would be one redirect. If you want to block sites which spam multiple automatic redirects (usually porn or ad sites), you can lower this value to 10 for example, or even less. I don't recommend disabling automatic redirection (i.e setting this to 0) as many sites use legitimate redirects, such as most Internet forums after you have posted a message.

Tweak is from TweakGuides.com

Anyone tried the Fasterfox Extension? I've been using it lately on new installs and it seems to do most of the tweaks that we were going in and performing manually.

Increasing web server load? So that's what we're doing? Oh well, I'm not going to have it go slow, now that' I've seen how fast it can go...after all, I am paying for the services........
