I need a linux equivalent for printmaster. I am trying scribus and if i can work out a template thing... Anyway my sister wants something to write thank you notes on the computer is there any software that can do it (like quarter fold cards) i did it with scribus and i could do it with the gimp but it involves rotating things (which i can do as i can work upside down) but she isnt so talented. While im at it does anyone know of a good place to get clipart (this would pacify her for a long time)
thank you

I can't help you with printmaster, (if anyone knows of a desktop publishing package that runs on SuSE, let me know) but here's a pretty fair clipart site: http://classroomclipart.com/ HTH. Cool

I was looking for a WYSIWYG style publisher, similar to M$ Publisher. It has pretty much all that schleyfox is looking for, but a lot more, and unlike some of the ones you mentioned, you don't need to learn a new language to use it. (What you see is what you get, at the printer!) Scribus sounds pretty good, and I will try it out, but I have a lot on my learning table at the moment, and I'm not too enhused with the idea of learning TeX/LaTeX as well, but thanks for the links! Cool

I think lyx is WYSIWYG.

Edit: just checked LyX website. They call it WYSIWYM(ake).

What is LyX?

LyX is the first WYSIWYM document processor.
