Lol!

I took the PTCB exam last thursday, according to the test computer I passed the exam and as I exited the exam room, I was given a print out that told me I'll get my certification and registration information on friday. Yay!

Next comes the 'position' part. Sadly, there were 8 entry level Pharmacy Technician positions open when I enrolled for the class, today there are ..... zero entry level positions. pffft.

Pushing Linux on the clients? Won't be every day, but I think I see how I can bring that up, just can't discuss it here... it has to do with the letter "H".

Well!!

After 57 continuous weeks being unemployed, I return to the workforce tomorrow. I'll be working as a 'pharmacy technician', as far as the posting described it, but during the interview, the manager was already saying 'cross training' for what I was shown was a shipping like position. No matter to me. Hourly pay is 4x what I was depositing of unemployment benefits.

Thus, I have effectively ended my 28 year long career (in total) in electronics.

What pharmacy will you be working at? If I'm in the area I will have to stop by and say Hi.

Hello back at you!

This pharmacy is very different. We don't do prescriptions for the general public. Just a random unit in an industrial park.
