For those that haven't played this yet ............ this game is like a bad addiction.

Anyway I had to do some tricks to get it to install with cedega but it works! And it runs GREAT on my Slackware box!

LOL i played it for awail and got addicted, but it's gets sort of boring after about 3 months

Three months is a lot in my experience. Usually I beat games within four to seven days and forget about them.

LOL yah i know it seems like there making games shorter... but you can't beat COH. i do suggest playing it it's really fun ^^^

=P it's annoying here spend 50$ here so you can go home findout it's either reallly fun and extremely short, or just plaing DUMB and a repeat =P

Yeah but in the short month that I've owned COH they have released 2 majot updates with new areas, enhancements, villians, etc.

Something that would cost me extra in another game. Granted I'm paying 15 bucks a month for it so this stuff SHOULD be free ..... but it at least appears that the people at COH are always on the lookout to keep things interesting.

This game is quickly becoming like a drug to me Smile

Everyone I've talked to says that CoH is kind of lacking in different content? How many professions are there? What's the combat like?

Well you can choose from a tanker, scrapper, controller, defender or blaster.

Inside each of those you have different sets of powers to choose from.

Combat is done pretty well and even with a ton of people in one area the lag isn't bad at all .......

My biggest problem is that there is so much for me to choose from that I can't settle on one type of character and haven't made it past level 12 on any character I have ever played Smile

Well... it looks like NCSoft is going to die if Marvel manage to sue them, which is more likely to happen than not.
