I just got it running...it's eh-sweet!
I got an idea and used fluxbox keys and 'xmodmap' to map the internet explorer key to start firefox on my memorex mx2759 keyboard.

Who's multimedia?

I AM! Idea

Heres how:

Use 'xev' to find the keycode for the (if there) internet explorer key.
Map the internet explorer key to XF86WWW: (example, the "keycode" would differ)

Code:

xmodmap -e 'keycode 236 = XF86WWW'


The in your '.fluxbox' directory, open your 'keys' file and add:

Code:

None XF86WWW :execCommand /home/stratus/firefox/firefox


Replace with the path to firefox.
