Found a cool Firefox extension. A full-fledged FTP client and only weighs in at 55 KB. Wink

Quote:
Introducing fireFTP, a cross-platform FTP client for Mozilla Firefox which provides easy and intuitive access to FTP servers.

* Features include:
o Any operating system: Windows, Macintosh, and Linux
o Compact: only 55KB in size!
o Tabbed Transfering: use fireFTP in a Firefox tab
o Passive/Active Mode: support for both modes of transfers
o And best of all: it's FREE!

Screenshot (of course, the linux implementation is much better looking)

Awesome link! Thanks Germ. I know some people using Windows who use IE for FTP stuff because by default FTP isn't supported by Firefox very well- but this will definitely keep people from using IE anymore!

Any of y'all use FileZilla? I have, and wonder how the FF extension compares. I may grab this @ work and test it.

I tried to d/l it, and Firefox wouldn't let their own plug-in come through without me allowing it in the configuration. That's great Exclamation Very Happy Now it's installed Wink

I updated my menus, but can't find it.

Never mind Embarassed Embarassed , I just found it in the FireFox tools at the bottom of the menu. Laughing.
Great, no more menu searching Wink now it's on a tab at the top of the window, I don't know if it will stay there or not, but it's there now Smile
