I am working now and I am very highly considering buying a 40gb ipod with my earnings. I believe I have heard that it works in linux. One of the features that attracts me to the iPod is the playlist creator in iTunes, if iTunes will not work, are there any other programs that can create iPod playlists (easily) ? Thank you.

Gtkpod seems to be the best iPod interface. You can use Rhythmbox to generate playlists and Gtkpod to load the playlist on your iPod.

yeah well the government pays there workers well (and its tax-free for me!), but it is hard work Smile
