gnormalize is a front end to normalize, ripper, encoder and audio converter. It decodes the MP3/MPC/OGG files to wave, then normalizes the wave and re-encodes it. gnormalize can also convert audio format between MP3 MPC OGG and change ID3 tag properties.
The ability to rip audio CDs was added. |

New Release: gnormalize 0.26
Changes: Support for the MP4 format with dependencies on faac (encoder)
and faad (decoder). The subroutine 'save_ID3v2_mp3_tag' of gnormalize that
saves ID3tagv2 to MP3 files has been improved.

New Release: gnormalize 0.28 May 7th 2024
Changes: This version features a new entry for additional command line
used by encoders, a new entry for the rip filename format, the ability to
edit and save the tag of CDDB info for audio CDs and adds CDDB
configurations, a new file chooser for when a file is selected, and some
bugfixes.
