After a very long time of using the Mozilla suite, consisting of the Mozilla Web Browser. the Mozilla Mail client, the integrated spell checker, and occasionally the Calendar, I have migrated to using Firefox and Thunderbird in their place. I cheated and used the same disk partition to store my stuff. I copied the bookmarks from Mozilla to use with Firebird, then I used the Mozilla Mail Email context with Thunderbird by pointing the Thunderbird directory to the same place as Mozilla Mail. As long as I don't use both at the same time, they peacefully co-exist. Thunderbird is a bit more conservative (and safe) about such things as displaying HTML enabled images (it'll do it, just not by default(. I'm using Firefox to enter this note; Thunderbird to read updated links to this thread.
