Major Wall Street firm is seeking an engineer to join its Identity Management/Directory Engineering group working with LDAP, Meta Directory products.
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong programming skills in Perl
- Web/CGI programming experience
- Understanding of LDAP
- Understanding of TCP/IP and client/server architecture
- Solid background in UNIX/Linux fundamentals
- At least 3-4 years of professional work experience
- Strong trouble shooting/problem solving capability
- Self starter, motivated and can work unsupervised
- Structured, organized approach to project and able to set and meet delivery date
- Effective verbal and written communications skills
- Understand and carried through full production cycle of a product including requirement gathering, design, coding, testing, production turnover, documentation and post- production support
- Able to work in a fast changing environment and working under pressure
DESIRED SKILLS
- Understanding of Active Directory or directory server infrastructure and programming
- Experience with workflow programming
- Kerberos, Apache Tomcat
- C, C#
- Able to set up test environment
- Working experience in a financial Institutional environment
