Linux alternative to M$ Visio?

Is there a Linux alternative to M$ Visio? If you are unsure what Visio is it is a program for flowcharts and design and thinks like that.

Well I am using KDE but not Koffice. I guess it won't hurt to install it though, thanks.

It would be nice if OpenOffice had a module for designing a flow chart, but I don't think one exists...

2) Dia.
3) KChart.
4) xfig.
5) Tgif + dotty.
6) Tulip.
7) Poseidon for UML. [Prop & free versions]
8) JGraph + JGraphPad. (Java)
9) OpenOffice.

Thanks for all the options, I installed Dia it does what I want and can export to Visio's native format
