The kacpid process is taking 80% of cpu resources on an average.
And I have been observing this since I have moved to openSuSE 10.3.
Killing process doesn't make any difference, as it crops up again.
I have seen some solutions where there are modifications in kernel and recompiling it.

Is there any other solution? I think even re-installing is fine, but with what options?
