Thanks guys. I grabbed the current 32 bit "unstable" version. Pretty limited in features, performance, and in general, but I did not get any crashes in the relatively short amount of time I used it. Midori seems to be one of the fastest in the round of Webkit based Linux browsers. Arora is worth watching, but it is not much faster than Chrome. None of them comes close to touching either Firefox or Seamonkey, or for that matter, Opera, for overall features, but it is early in the game for all of them, so they are worth watching to see what eventually comes out. |

Already up to Version 3.0.187.0 from 3.0.183.1 Pre Alpha that was mentioned not even a week ago! It is coming together nicely too! |

I am using Google Chrome and I think that today the Debian unstable test version kicked up to version 191. It behaves in a stable fashion but is lacking in some pretty important features, such as setting (and KEEPING) the default font - the fonts are way too small for these cataract infected eyes!
Other than that, it is fast, stays up fine on sites like this one and seems to hold the lead by a slight margin in Javascript rendering speed. |

I downloaded Google Chrome 3.0.197.11 (Developer Release) and installed it on my Mepis 64bit box today. It's quick!
Here's some links for those of you using a Debian based distro . . .
Unstable_i386_deb download
Unstable_amd64_deb download
I posted a screenshot in the USALUG Album, HERE
