I tried to set up https on Suse 10.2. I followed the step by step instructions under
http://www.tc.umn.edu/~brams006/selfsign_opensuse.html

The firewall on 443 is opened. I am not getting anything on my /var/log/apache2/error_log

I am getting the following error when I go to https://<servername>/

the server name is prosperous

Data Transfer Interrupted

The connection to prosperous was interrupted while the page was loading.

The browser connected successfully, but the connection was interrupted while transferring information. Please try again.

I have not set that up for quite some time Confused

But from what I remember off the top of my head, there is one more line in one file in /etc that needs editing and can't remember what it is Confused
It deals with the system loading support for ssl at boot time and your system will need a reboot for it to work.
