Please fell free to add your favorite. This is a new area for me. Have not been following Arch till I did the core a few days ago.
Firefly Linux. Firefly Linux is a lightweight operating system designed with netbooks in mind. Based on Arch Linux, it comes with the small and fast LXDE desktop environment, many popular applications, and out-of-the-box support for wireless networks, sound cards and graphics cards. Firefly Linux includes some non-free software, including the Flash browser plugin and Skype telephony software, while thousands of additional packages are available for installation via the distribution's command-line or graphical package management tools.

There are a couple others listed at distrowatch, but they are listed as dormant. The only three I know of.
Not that that is the final word <G><

Here we are again with a new release. A lot has been going on in linux land recently and testing all the new stuff took quite some time. If you want to help getting chaox developed faster we’d really appreciate some testers. Contact us via irc or the forum for details. So what new stuff do we have? We have the 2.6.29.1 kernel, patched for injection, ecryptfs, giskismet a tool for visualizing wireless networks, we switched to the beta version of nmap which comes with conficker detection, the packet-o-matic packet processor, polipo proxy configured to work with tor (tor button in firefox should work out-of-the-box now), sqlninja injection and takeover tool for mssql, sqlsus a similar tool for mysql and the w3af web application pentesting tool.
On the infrastructure side, the kind folks over at aircrack-ng made a subforum for us, please use it instead of the comment section if your asking for support, wordpress comments have become hard to maintain. If you have any problems/suggestions/whatever we’d like to hear from you! Read more for the complete changelog. http://blag.chaox.net/

Bad certificate for above last time I checked for download site, but the link for newest version 2025.7 is downpage on / at http://blag.chaox.net/

Development Release: Chakra Alpha 4
chakra Phil Miller has announced the availability of the fourth alpha release of Chakra, a desktop distribution and live CD with KDE 4 based on Arch Linux: "Today we are pleased to announce the release of alpha 4, named 'NewAge', of our very own Chakra live media. A lot has changed since alpha 3. We have a new KDE 4 theme; Tribe can install custom mount points, and we did a ton of fixes. KDEmod got updated to version 4.3.3. Chakra hardware detection got stripped down to fit X.Org Server 1.7.1.901 package, so only NVIDIA drivers are the supported proprietary drivers for now. Most noticeable changes and additions since alpha 3: Linux kernel 2.6.31.6 with fglrx patch; Chakra tools updated (aqpm, shaman, chase); ATI Catalyst support temporarily dropped...." Chakra has moved up to 44 on Distrowatch, and I can see why. It seems to be a good'ern that even fumblefingers like me can seem to work with.
Installed the A4, and am very pleased with it so far. Originally, it did not "find" win7 or Mint, otherwise quite good.

I was not a big fan of Gnome in he past and pretty well stuck to KDE, but some of the recent implementations of Gnome 2.28.X and xfce, as well as some of the lighter WM have been interesting.
K3b and ktorrent were my mainstays <G>< But they, and some of the other "K" aps I like can be implemented anywhere any more.
For now, on the Arch side, I will stick to what started as Chakra. It is a humdinger. I am not one to spend hours to days to get up an OS to be close to what I need any more**, but am not always pleased with the results in the long run of some of the ready made full distros. Charka was about right with few personalizations.
**Too many years building windows boxes, and installing windows and all the "stuff" to allow some non tech person to be halfway safe on the net if they can avoid opening everything they see.....and cleaning up after them if they can't.
