Was just experimenting with different Desktop managers/Desktop Environments... I always kinda liked the *Box managers. I've been unemployed for a bit and I'd really like to get a better processor and more RAM and all that, but the budget is too tight. So, I figured I could switch to one of the boxes and regain some processor horsepower.

The OpenBox-KDE option makes a bit of an improvement in system response time, and SEEMS to have all the bells and whistles of basic KDE.

OpenBox-KDE is not the slit thing I was looking for (ala FluxBox), but this is interesting enough for now.

I know OpenBox used to be a slit type desktop manager, but this version of the UI was a surprise to me. Has anyone else use OpenBox recently?
