rm cobol, it makes you laugh in a command line sort of way Laughing
I wonder what genius thought that one up.

Cobol and Fortran Languages of the 70's and 80's hmmmm

I know of several business's that use Cobol in Production systems, and rely on it for their billion dollar businesses... old yes...... unused, nope.

Sort of reminds me of the "framework" stuff for python/perl etc...... just another layer of stuff to make interfacing other types of applications easier.

The product is called rm cobol (remove cobol) Laughing

The marketing people must not be familiar the unix command line Rolling Eyes

Yeah they probably weren't thinking about unix commands with that name.

I had lots of COBOL in college and didn't really mind it. Even have my own compiler. It was very handy in school. Beat trying to get into a computer lab.
