Linux Administrator in Washington DC

We are searching for a System Administrator that can handle it all for a software product development organization. It will be your shop. You:

- Must have experience managing a high volume production Linux environment as product will be delivered on client's platform

- Must be able to handle uncertainty

- Will handle Linux and Windows boxes

- Be responsible for production servers, as well as internal servers for development and business

- have hands on management of all boxes - 1 man show

- must also do desktop management (mostly PC laptops, but some macs thrown in)

You must thrive on delivery and an ever changing issues of the day. This position isn't for you if you want a large IT shop or if you want to be one of the sheep. If you don't know Command line, don't apply.

This position is open to US Citizens or permanent residents.

Not Superman, just a small product development company that will grow quickly. I expect they will me a one person shop less than a year with the administrator hiring staff quickly.
