I wonder how this would compare to a COMPTIA Linux cert?

It reminds me of when I started working on PC's. I'm Compaq certified. Now Compaq is part of HP and everyone goes for COMPTIA A+ certification now. A few more years and everyone's going to ask who is Compaq? Laughing

If you follow what I'm leading up to, I'd rather get a cert that wasn't tied to one vendor or manufacturer.

CompTIA is supposed to be vendor neutral.
I've got A+, Network+, and Linux+ from them.
A+ and Linux+ were vendor neutral. Network+ was very windows centric.
I may get this one as we use Novell @ work.
