OTRS is a Web-based help desk and ticket system that provides a
tailored set of effective and field-tested features to help service
organizations to manage requests more efficiently and provides
a transparent view of the current status of a customer's request
at any time. It supports the following databases: MySQL, MS SQL,
PosgreSQL, MaxDB (SAP DB), Oracle, and DB2.
Changes: New features in this release include stable support for Microsoft
SQL Server, a multi-calendar and time zone feature, a new statistics
framework, optimized synchronization of authorizations from LDAP directory
services, PDF output support, a new knowledge database/FAQ module, tracking
features for sub-orders, and personal watchlists. Performance gains of an
average of 10% were achieved.
