Wiki on a Stick!
http://stickwiki.sourceforge.net/
Quote:

Wiki on a Stick (in short WoaS) is a wiki that lives in one self-modifying XHTML file. It's perfect to be used at home or at office, on your laptop or USB pen drive (along with Portable Firefox if you want) and even in a floppy disk! It can be used as a personal notepad, calendar, repository for software documentation and many other things; it allows full customization and extension by your own scripts or libraries. It also offers true AES encryption of pages.

Neat project. Would be really impressive if they got some good designers to work on their project. The functionality is nice but it looks very "blah".

Also having firefox prompt you to approve access to the file system for any changes all the time seems like it might get annoying.

I'm not quite organized enough to make good use of this myself. I typically scribble on random pieces of paper that I find on my desk or just create something in a text editor Smile

I started working on my copy yesterday......... a VERY handy way to keep my notes/etc Wink

The search tool makes it easy to find phone numbers as well..... I created a page "Phone Numbers" and just by searching the name, it shows the name and phone number....... all in all, a very very interesting project and useful tool for my pen drive Wink
