No, it was with 6 at the time. Not 12. Remember, the diff between Viewports and desktops.
I had set it in that one shot to show 2 rows of them.
In CCSM, check this out:
See that Vertical Virtual Size there? That's what gives the two rows in the Expo, when I set that to 2. I also have the Expo set to show the reflection.
The Horizontal Virtual setting is what gives the number of Viewports.
The number of desktops I keep to four.
Oh, and that blue icon with the white arrow down there in the System Tray? That's fusion-icon. I can start/stop compiz at will now, without having to logout/login every time.
FYI: this is a video I did when I was very first starting out with compiz.
There's another one I did for the Mandriva 10th Anniversary, but I can't get into the forum right now to get the link.
Edit: Finally found it! Click
You can extract the file with Archive Manager in Gnome, or Ark in KDE either one, and watch.

Well, Cooker finally installed for me late last night, and went off without a hitch.
The desktop's been through a few changes today, so forgive the many pics posted here. I'm pretty proud of what I've finally settled on. Hope you like, too.
I started out with it like this at first:
But the red seemed just a bit too much, so I landed with my two favorite colors predominant:
And here's the cube with the Cube Atlantis plugin, but unfortunately the shot didn't come out too good of it (the fishies and water moving, see...):
And Houston, we be paintin' de fire on dat screen too! LOL:
Gnome-Colors icon theme, Bluecurve-Grape Controls, Esco window borders all on Gnome.
Oh, and check it out!
My Walkman now mounts with Nautilus in RC1!
