Wow! I am quite content in my current job role, but if I could do this kind of job from where I am, I might be interested in it!

What is there? Can I be a Linux evangelist from there?

I just got a second project to work on at my job - which is digging me in deeper into project management. I was told the reason I was being brought into the second project is because it is having problems and I am respected as a person who is "good with process" and I can add some process and stability to the project. Nice complement.

I'd love to try some Linux work, but right now, the job I have is a six figure job and I desperately need it because I am now in "child support" mode, if you get my drift. Six figures is nothing. How'd you like to be out 4K a month? So right now, I am sticking with my lucrative job - and I actually like it nearly all the time! Wink

Well, I don't know for sure what is 'there' in Lebanon NH, but the posting says.... "Location: Anywhere in the world" and "Travel: 50%, including international".

Somehow, I don't think it would suit your current situation.

In a way, I wish it did, but this is not my time to change. I hope before I retire I can play the part of a PAID Linux evangelist. Meanwhile I will do it through forums and other means to scratch that itch.

Thanks. I have news to report on the installation and update of three distros.

Will go to Distributions to discuss that now.
